Four stroke engine working principle :
First stroke -- intake stroke: when the piston is at a specified crank Angle before the upper stop, the intake valve opens and the combustible mixture is drawn into the cylinder. When the piston moves from the upper stop to the lower stop, the exhaust valve closes at a specified crankshaft Angle at the upper stop. At the same time, the cylinder volume above the piston increases, making the cylinder form a vacuum combustible mixture to continue to be inhaled through the inlet valve. When the piston moves to a specified crank Angle after the lower stop, the intake valve is closed. At this point, the intake process is completed.
Second stroke ------ compression stroke: the piston moves from the lower stop to the upper stop. At the end of the intake process, both the intake and exhaust valves are closed, and the combustible mixture in the cylinder begins to be compressed.
Third stroke ------ combustion expansion power stroke: during compression stroke, when the piston moves upward to a specified crank Angle before the upper stop, spark is emitted between spark plug electrodes to ignite the compressed combustible mixture. The burning combustible mixture sharply increases the temperature and pressure in the cylinder, and the piston, under the action of high temperature, high pressure and pressure, moves from the top to the bottom, and drives the crankshaft to rotate through the connecting rod.
Fourth stroke ------ exhaust stroke: in the combustion expansion stroke, when the piston line to the next stop before a specified crankshaft Angle, exhaust valve open, the exhaust gas began to exhaust through the vent door. The crankshaft continues to rotate and push the piston up from the lower stop. Push the exhaust gas out of the cylinder. This exhaust process is terminated when the exhaust door is closed until a specified crankshaft Angle after the piston has passed the upper dead point.
